Job summary

Gardner-Watson Decking, Inc is seeking an experienced structural metal decking ironworker to join our nationwide crews. You will lay and fasten sheet metal decking on steel structures, weld seams, and install shear studs while adhering to OSHA and site safety standards.

Projects run 2–3 months with travel to a new city on completion. Daytime shifts, consistent reporting of time and attendance, and per diem plus health/dental/vision benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Lay and fasten sheet metal decking on steel structures.
• Weld seams and install shear studs as assigned.
• Uphold OSHA, customer, and company safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lay and attach sheet metal decking on steel structures.
• Safely operate hand, power, pneumatic, and powder-actuated tools.
• Weld metal decking and perform shear stud installation.
• Keep tools and equipment in proper working order.
• Accurately report time and attendance daily.
