Job summary

KL&A is seeking engineers and construction/project managers to support steel construction from concept to completion. The role involves traveling between Loveland and Golden offices, collaborating with detailers, engineers, fabricators, erectors, and general contractors, and driving cost-conscious design/build processes.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Able to work in the US now and in the future WITHOUT sponsorship.
• 2 years minimum in the build industry.
• Revit experience or willingness to learn.
• Familiar with Outlook, Excel, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Assist during preconstruction activities such as estimating, logistics planning, and schedule creation for structural and miscellaneous steel projects using Revit, Bluebeam, Excel, and a Cost Modeler.
• Review Contract Documents to identify cost, missing information, and risk throughout design phases.
• Lead detailing team through the detailing process, resolving tolerances and sequencing constraints.
• Manage buyout, budgets, and project through fabrication to erection with trade partners.
• Attend and lead jobsite and partner meetings with focus on safety, quality, and client expectations.
