Rodeo Dental seeks a Travel Part-time Specialty Dental Assistant in Tucson, AZ. Previous experience with Open Dental or Dentrix is a plus, and bilingual Spanish is preferred.

The position emphasizes collaboration, infection control, and accurate record-keeping while delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic dental practice environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active RDA license registered with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE).
• CPR certification preferred.
• Certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.
• Dental software experience (Open Dental/Dentrix) helpful.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-of-week inventory provided to Lead DA to replenish stock.
• Maintain patient and team safety as a priority and follow OSHA protocols.
• Prepare tray setups according to doctor preferences for procedures.
• Take diagnostic X-Rays and attach to patient chart.
• Maintain digital patient information and chart integrity.
• Educate patients and parents on oral health benefits.
• Monitor patient safety and well-being during visits.
• Assist with bonding, brackets, impressions, and orthodontic steps.
