Job summary

Castle Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a Part-Time Traveling Specialty Dental Assistant to support our specialty dental practices throughout the Houston area. This traveling position requires travel between North and South Houston locations based on weekly business needs.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Dental Assistant who is comfortable working in different practice environments and has experience supporting specialty dental procedures.

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous dental assisting experience required.
• Perio or Oral Surgery experience strongly preferred.
• Endodontic or Orthodontic experience is a plus.
• Comfortable assisting with specialty procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing locations and daily priorities.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations throughout the Houston area.
• Ability to work a flexible, part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to specialty dentists during procedures.
• Prepare rooms, instruments, and materials for specialty procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and post-procedure instructions.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Support the dental team in delivering a positive patient experience.
• Adapt quickly to different offices, teams, providers, and daily schedules.
• Travel between Castle Dental locations in the Houston area based on business needs.
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and organization across practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the clinical team.
