Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Solar Field Foreman to oversee installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and completion of commercial solar projects across the USA. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys field work, problem solving, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial solar experience.
• Proven experience managing commercial solar field installations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and system issues.
• Experience commissioning commercial PV systems.
• Working knowledge of NEC and solar best practices.
• Ability to read electrical one-line diagrams and construction drawings.
• Willingness to travel throughout the USA.

• Perform system commissioning and verify proper operation before project turnover.
• Troubleshoot electrical, communications, inverter, and system performance issues.
• Identify and resolve field challenges to keep projects on schedule.
• Ensure installations comply with engineering drawings, electrical codes, and safety standards.
• Complete punch lists and ensure projects are delivered to the customer with zero outstanding issues.
• Travel to project sites throughout the southeastern United States as needed.

• Ensure installations comply with engineering drawings, electrical codes, and safety standards

• Willingness to travel throughout the USA

Preferred Qualifications

• NABCEP certification (preferred but not required)
• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with commercial battery storage systems
• Experience with utility interconnections and final inspections
