Job summary

A leading construction company in Columbus, Ohio is looking for a Sr. Site Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across multiple projects. The role includes developing safety programs, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will hold a B.S. in Safety and Health and have over 4 years of safety experience in construction. Strong communication skills and bilingual abilities in Spanish are preferred. This is a key position to promote a zero-injury culture on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• At least four years of safety experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and intercultural communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Conduct and document pre‑planning safety meetings.
• Facilitate training for site personnel.
• Conduct regular daily and weekly jobsite inspections.
• Investigate all incidents and generate reports.
