Plunkett's is seeking a Traveling Service Technician to roam Nebraska and Iowa, visiting branches, solving pest problems, and building a fast-growing career. You'll travel between locations, pick up new skills, and gain licenses through hands-on training.

This role offers 30% overnight trips with hotel and travel covered, a path to your own route, and a team that backs you up while you learn and grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No pest control experience required; training provided.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Jump into open routes across branches and keep customers happy with great service.
• Back up other technicians when things get busy or someone's out.
• Travel between branches, including overnight trips ~30% of the time (hotel and travel covered) and daily drives of roughly 100–200 miles.
• Learn to identify pests and treat homes and businesses the right way.
• Work toward your state pest control license and certifications.
• Log your work using a company tablet.

Traveling Service Technician

As a Traveling Service Technician, you'll travel between branches, pick up new skills fast, and see more of the business than most people do in their first year. Think of it as your fast track into a great pest control career. The travel area for this role includes Nebraska and Iowa.

Pay is $23.00 – $25.00 Per Hour

What You Bring

• Zero pest control experience needed, we'll teach you everything
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• A yes to travel, including overnight trips about 30% of the time

• Comfort using a tablet or phone app to get things done

Physical requirements: Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable walking, bending, kneeling, crawling, and climbing ladders to reach attics and crawlspaces. Ready to work outside in all kinds of weather and around dust, chemicals, and bugs. Able to sit and drive for long stretches while on the road.
