Job summary

The Boldt Company – National Power & Industrial is seeking a Traveling Senior Project Manager to lead $50M+ power-generation construction projects across the United States, with 100% project-based travel. This hands-on, execution-focused role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of leadership on large industrial projects.

You will drive safety, schedule, quality, and financial outcomes from preconstruction through commissioning, with union-field leadership and strong collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven project leadership on large-scale industrial or power projects with full accountability for $50M+ scopes (larger preferred).
• Experience delivering power generation or industrial projects (simple or combined-cycle, fossil, or similar environments).
• Knowledge of code and quality requirements, including pressure piping and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead $50M+ power-generation construction projects across the U.S. with full accountability for outcomes.
• Deliver safe execution, schedule certainty, quality, and financial performance from preconstruction through commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Own self-perform work in a union environment (labor planning, means-and-methods, equipment management, productivity, field problem-solving).
• Responsible for budget forecasting and earned value management; critical path scheduling; engineering and stakeholder interfaces; subcontractor and supplier performance.
