Career Match Solutions is hiring a Traveling Audiologist to deliver comprehensive audiological services to students across Alexandria City Public Schools. The role requires travel between ACPS locations, conducting screenings, evaluations, and IEP collaboration while maintaining strong communication with teachers and families.

The ideal candidate holds an Au.D. or is eligible for Virginia licensure, with CCC-A and experience in pediatric or educational settings.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D. preferred/required depending on licensing)
• Current Virginia Audiology license or eligibility for Virginia licensure
• ASHA CCC-A, as applicable
• Experience with children in school, pediatric, clinical, or educational settings preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel between multiple school locations during the workday
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if travel between schools is required

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing screenings and audiological evaluations for students
• Assess students for hearing loss, auditory processing concerns, and related educational needs
• Interpret audiological test results and prepare written evaluation reports
• Recommend classroom accommodations and assistive listening technologies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide audiological information
• Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate student records per regulations
• Travel between ACPS schools to deliver services
• Coordinate with medical providers and other audiologists as needed
• Provide guidance on classroom acoustics and hearing accessibility
• Complete required reports, evaluations, and service logs
