Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in occupational safety, EH&S, industrial tech, or related field preferred.
• Experience in industrial construction or related skilled trades is strongly preferred.
• OSHA 510 preferred but not required; OSHA 500/CHST/OHST/ASP/CSP certifications accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety guidance and support to project managers, supervisors, site safety professionals, subcontractors, and craft personnel across multiple project locations.
• Travel extensively throughout the United States to provide on-site safety support, project assessments, and temporary site coverage as required.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled project site visits to evaluate compliance with safety programs, client requirements, and OSHA regulations.
• Review Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Safety Task Analysis (STA), risk assessments, permits, and pre-task plans to verify hazards and controls.
• Monitor compliance in high-risk activities like fall protection, LOTO, crane and rigging, electrical work, and mobile equipment operations.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, audit findings, and corrective action recommendations for project leadership.
• Promote employee engagement and coaching through safety initiatives; support audits and client safety meetings.
