Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking a travel-oriented in-store merchandiser to support retailers with displays, end caps, and shelf resets. You will rotate stock, track inventory, and help maximize sales opportunities across locations.

This role requires frequent travel (up to 50% of the time), strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided, and benefits are available as part of the employment package.

Qualifications

• Must provide strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel within and outside home state with overnight stays.
• Experience with merchandising, displays, end caps and shelf resets is a plus.
• Comfort with lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs and driving sales opportunities.
• Build displays and end caps, reset shelves with product rotation, and track inventory.
• Travel as a primary requirement of the role, with occasional overnight stays.
• Collaborate with store personnel and management to ensure planograms are followed and promotions are executed.

This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role. Travel roles may require various degrees of travel up to 50% or more of the time. • Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Interested in traveling within and outside of your home state, with overnight hotel stays
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
