Job summary

Retail Odyssey is seeking a traveling merchandiser to support retailers with displays, end caps, and shelf resets. You will help rotate products, track inventory, and maximize in-store sales while traveling to multiple locations.

The role requires 50% travel, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently or with a team. No prior experience is required as training and team support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising or display setup preferred, but not required.
• Ability to travel regularly and manage time on the road.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfort interacting with store staff and management in a friendly manner.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role. Travel roles may require various degrees of travel up to 50% or more of the time. • Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Interested in traveling within and outside of your home state, with overnight hotel stays
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
