Job summary

Done Right Merchandising in Danville, VA is seeking an entry-level Retail Merchandiser to support store remodels and new setups across locations. This role involves stocking, shelving, labeling, and collaborating with store teams.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to travel, 18+ years old, capable of standing long periods and lifting up to 35 pounds. Work is full-time with 8:00am–8:00pm shifts and a 2 weeks on/1 week off cycle.

Qualifications

• Merchandising/remodels experience in retail environments.
• Ability to travel regularly and have reliable transportation.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to stand long periods.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Pass national background check and drug screenings.
• Commit to assigned hours on project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Remove existing products from shelves in an orderly manner and stock in new location.
• Set shelves, peg hooks, shelf strips, price labels and signage.
• Stock merchandise according to a planogram.
• Assist with building and/or moving store fixtures.
• Travel from job location to job location on a regular basis.
• Work a two week on/one week off schedule.
• Work hours: 8:00am to 8:00pm.

Qualifications

• Have experience with merchandising and remodels in a retail store environment
• Proven ability to work with a team and meet deadlines
• The desire and ability to travel! You will need personal, reliable transportation (we do not provide rentals, and public transportation will not suffice in this line of work)
• Be Reliable! Commit to working the assigned hours provided on the project schedule
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Capability to stand comfortably for prolonged periods of time
• Strength to periodically lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to pass national background check and random drug screenings
• Valid government issued Identifications
