Job summary

SAS Retail Services, a part of Advantage Solutions, is hiring a traveling in-store merchandiser to support retailers by building displays, rotating stock, and tracking inventory. This role requires frequent travel and overnight stays as a core part of the job.

You will interact with store management and customers in a friendly, energetic manner, lifting up to 50 lbs and meeting the needs of shoppers while driving sales opportunities. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or merchandising is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to travel up to 50% with overnight stays.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up displays and end caps to maximize sales opportunities.
• Reset shelves with product rotation and shelf standards.
• Track inventory and coordinate with retailers and suppliers.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role. Travel roles may require various degrees of travel up to 50% or more of the time. • Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Interested in traveling within and outside of your home state, with overnight hotel stays
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
