Job summary

PDP is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment at multiple centers. You will deliver professional nursing care for surgery center patients, follow established standards, and address psychosocial and physical needs throughout the perioperative period.

This hands-on role requires strong clinical skills, teamwork, and the ability to work across several ambulatory surgery centers with occasional travel. GA RN license and BLS are required; ACLS is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Georgia (GA) required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery by assessing physical, psychological, and social status and recording vitals.
• Ensure operative consents are signed and accurate.
• Oversee patient flow through the surgery center.
• Initiate IVs and inform patients about procedures.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness; prepare lists of needed items.
• Identify changes in patient condition and act promptly.
• Provide high-quality care and evidence-based decisions in emergencies.
• Perform aseptic nursing care before and after anesthesia.
• Answer questions, ensure comfort, and reassure patients and families.
• Monitor patient status and report changes to physicians.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
