Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. seeks a Licensed Journeyman - Retail Distribution Systems Technician to install and service electrical systems across multiple sites nationwide.

The role involves bending conduit, wiring, installing fixtures, reading blueprints, and supervising apprentices. Travel is required with locations nationwide; candidates must maintain a Journeyman license, read schematics, and ensure safety and quality on every project.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8,000+ verifiable hours worked in the electrical trade.
• Current State Electrical Journeyman license.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Ability to travel by car and plane, with overnight travel.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect control systems and power distribution equipment.
• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot circuits and equipment.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Supervise apprentices and mentor team members.
• Inspect completed work for quality and safety.
