Job summary

Aerotek is seeking experienced Traveling Pipefitters to support contract projects in Houston, TX. You will interpret ship piping drawings and fit piping for marine, commercial nuclear, or petro/chemical applications, onsite in a dynamic environment.

The role offers a base rate of $35/hour and a per diem of $140, plus medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) options, life and disability insurance, and additional benefits. Travel-ready and precise with fabrication skills are required.

Qualifications

Five years or more of experience as a First Class Pipefitter in marine, commercial nuclear, or petro/chemical industries
Ability to read and interpret ship piping drawings
Experience with carbon steel, CRES, and copper-nickel piping
Proficiency with hand tools and Portsmouth Machine for end prep
Ability to read a ruler using inches and tenths
Physical ability to fabricate, bend, and install piping

Responsibilities
