Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our humanitarian program, delivering medical care to migrants in CBP custody. This full-time role offers day, night, and weekend shifts with housing and weekly traveler stipends and excellent benefits.

The PA must hold an unrestricted U.S. license, ARC-PA accredited PA program, NCCPA as required, BLS, and at least one year of clinical experience. The position emphasizes care across all ages, including pediatric and prenatal care.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted PA license in any U.S. state
• ARC-PA accredited PA program education
• NCCPA certification if required by state
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience
• No serious license issues or criminal records
• Experience caring for pediatric and prenatal patients
• Proficiency with EMR and communication tools
• Willing to undergo federal background check

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains compliance with policies and scope of practice.
• Provides direct healthcare services to migrants in CBP custody and responds to emergencies.
• Document health problems and plan treatment in the EMR.
• Prescribe medications with appropriate dosing for diverse patient populations.
• Provide care for all ages including pediatric and prenatal patients.
• Coordinate referrals to offsite providers as required.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy of medical records.
• Communicate with supervising physicians and pediatric advisors.
