Job summary

Western Dental is seeking experienced Oral Surgeon Assistants to support our doctors in patient care, radiography, and infection control. You will help keep patients comfortable and deliver an unparalleled dental experience.

Requirements include RDA certification in CA/AZ/NV, current X-ray license, CPR and ACLS, high school diploma, and willingness to travel. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred; open availability. Must have a current radiation safety certificate for the state you practice.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• RDA certification CA/AZ/NV and current X-ray license.
• CPR and ACLS certifications required; OMSA or DAANCE preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Oral Surgeon at the chair and anticipate dentist's needs.
• Ensure OSHA, Dental Board, and Western Dental policies followed.
• Maintain proper patient treatment records.
• Take blood pressure and provide pre/post-operative instructions.
• Stock supplies and inform Floor Supervisor of reorders or issues.
• Assist in x-ray procedures and equipment handling.
• Build rapport with patients and staff.
