Job summary

McClatchy Media in Fayetteville, NC seeks a part-time Merchandiser to service products across multiple stores, traveling between accounts.

This on-site role requires reliable transportation, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to follow planograms and schedules. Travel may be up to 100% of the time to cover the territory.

Background checks and drug testing are part of employment; contingent on background check and MVR clearance as applicable.

Qualifications

General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
Conduct self in a professional manner.
Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
Reliable transportation for travel.
Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

Work within a retail environment to merchandise products by store/corporate standards; replenish; assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurements.
Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours; seek approval before working outside of scheduled hours.
Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
Accurately record work hours and other company information using designated applications.
Discuss duties requested by store personnel with Supervisor before performing them.
Other duties as assigned.
