Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a Merchandiser to service products across multiple stores in the Morehead area. This on-site, part-time role requires travel between accounts and adherence to a set weekly schedule.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage, with travel time paid, and a background/drug/MVR screen. Responsibilities include replenishing stock, displaying according to planograms, and maintaining strong store relationships.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.

Responsibilities

• Work 100% Merchandising, servicing stores and replenishing product following standards.
• Service all stores as scheduled within designated hours; obtain prior approval for overtime.
• Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a day or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing those not listed herein.
