Job summary

Advantmed is seeking enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians for a part-time, seasonal role that involves traveling to medical facilities to scan patient records. You will manage digital copies, organize files, and ensure HIPAA compliance during data handling.

The job requires a valid driver’s license, access to a car, and availability from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time for facility visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information.
• Proficiency with standard office software and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and gathering documents.
• Use electronic systems to properly collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are organized, accurate, and complete.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• File paperwork/reports quickly and accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA standards are met.
• Follow confidentiality guidelines and procedures.
• Interact with medical staff and other healthcare personnel.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
