Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant graduate or AMA CMA, or Bachelor’s Degree in Social/ Human/ Science preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and assist clients through the visit process.
• Complete patient intake assessment and informed consent with accurate medical records.
• Assist clinician and client with examination, follow-up care and referrals.
• Perform duties of Procedure Room Assistant, conduct lab testing, scrub and sterilize instruments.
• Assist in abortion services as needed.
• Maintain exam room and supply upkeep; log entries.
• Handle front office duties: receive calls and direct to staff.
• Use practice management system to enter data and charges.
• Record lab tests and results in logs and medical records.
• Provide injections as necessary.
• Conduct lab tests for Pregnancy, STI, HIV.
• Abide by PPDE mission and perform additional duties.
