Job summary

Fox Valley Metrology is seeking a Mechanical Calibration Technician to calibrate, test, and repair precision instruments across customer sites. Daily travel is required, with occasional overnight assignments to support calibration needs.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and delivering high-quality metrology services with a strong focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, test, and repair instrumentation to ensure accurate measurements including but not limited to: Force, Torque, and Pressure instrumentation as well as Optical Comparators, Hardness Testers, and Surface Plates
• Develop procedures and recommend standards to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate in a team environment while delivering tasks efficiently and with the highest quality
• Provide on-site support to local accounts with occasional overnight travel
• Perform other duties as assigned

Mechanical Calibration Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Calibrate, test, and repair instrumentation to ensure accurate measurements including but not limited to: Force, Torque, and Pressure instrumentation as well as Optical Comparators, Hardness Testers, and Surface Plates
