TenneyBrook is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support 18 locations, including convenience stores, gas stations, and a car wash. The role involves traveling between VT and NY sites, performing general maintenance, repairs, and preventive work.

You will handle HVAC and related systems with contractors when needed, and maintain tools and records. The position notes a starting pay of $25/hour, requires a high school diploma, and a willingness to work Monday through Friday on a day

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous building maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and basic building repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and use hand/power tools safely.
• Good judgment on when to engage licensed contractors.

Responsibilities

• Travel between Vermont and New York locations to respond to work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair general building issues (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, doors, fixtures).
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of buildings, equipment, and property.
• Assist with HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, car wash equipment maintenance; coordinate with contractors for specialized work.
• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain furniture, shelving, equipment, fixtures, and other components.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas, restrooms, storage, parking areas, and property.
• Respond promptly to leaks, damage, and unsafe conditions; maintain tools and supplies.
• Track work completed and materials used; communicate with location managers.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and assist with estimates.
