Job summary

SoCal Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Strike Team based out of the Temecula area.

You will travel to properties across regions to provide maintenance support, perform unit turns and capital projects, and ensure property stabilization with high-quality workmanship. The role requires 3–5 years in multifamily maintenance or construction, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in multifamily maintenance or construction.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% with overnight stays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to properties across multiple regions to provide maintenance support and property stabilization.
• Perform unit turns, repairs, capital improvement projects, and emergency maintenance work.
• Complete skilled tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and basic HVAC.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently with minimal oversight.
• Support inspection preparation and rapid project completion timelines.
• Work alongside regional teams to maintain company standards and improve property performance.
• Maintain accurate work order documentation and project updates.
• Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow OSHA/company safety standards.
• Represent the strike team professionally while onsite and provide excellent service to residents and site teams

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays and occasional extended hours
