Job summary

Redstone Residential is seeking a Traveling Maintenance Supervisor to lead hands-on maintenance across our Utah portfolio. You’ll deploy to sites on short notice, assess condition and backlogs, and coach on-site teams to deliver safe, high-quality repairs.

This field-based role requires 5+ years in maintenance with supervisory experience, strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge, and a willingness to travel across multiple counties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on property maintenance experience with supervisory responsibility
• Experience across multiple property classes (A, B, C) and both conventional multifamily and student housing preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
• Ability to quickly assess unfamiliar properties and prioritize work
• Proven leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively

Responsibilities

• Deploy to properties on short notice to provide interim leadership
• Assess condition, backlogs, PM compliance, and life-safety systems
• Perform or supervise HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
• Lead unit turn execution for compressed and rolling turns
• Train and mentor on-site maintenance staff and standards
• Improve work order close rates, response times, and PM compliance
• Coordinate with management and vendors as needed
• Document work performed and materials used
