Job summary

Autokiniton US Holdings, Inc. seeks a Traveling Machine Repair Technician Lead to support stamping press maintenance across Grand Rapids and other plants in OH, MI, SC, IL, and beyond. The role combines hands-on repair with technical leadership and mentoring for maintenance staff.

You will diagnose mechanical issues, lead equipment rebuilds, coordinate priorities, and ensure safety and uptime while regularly traveling to multiple sites. Competitive pay with overtime and per diem offered.

Qualifications

• Mechanical repair experience with emphasis on press equipment.
• Ability to lead maintenance projects and mentor technicians.
• Strong troubleshooting and safety awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions and manuals.
• Willingness to travel regularly to multiple plant sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead machine repair projects and equipment rebuilds at multiple plant locations.
• Serve as primary technical resource for complex machine and stamping press troubleshooting.
• Coordinate repair priorities with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to technicians and maintenance staff.
• Assist with training on troubleshooting techniques and safety procedures.
