Qualifications

  • Must have 3+ years of commercial low voltage installation experience.
  • Experience operating OTDR and Fluke Loss Test equipment for fiber testing.

Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables.
  • Build, install, and maintain MDFs and IDFs, including racks, patch panels, and wire management.
  • Operate OTDRs and Fluke Loss Testers to perform fiber testing and troubleshooting.
  • Perform cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, termination, and testing per BICSI NEC and local regulations.
  • Deliver professional customer service and maintain quality workmanship on installations.
  • Travel to job sites within the state and nationwide as required, including 2nd/3rd shift work.
