Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. seeks a Lineman to install, operate, repair, and maintain overhead telecommunications lines. This is a traveling role serving sites across the Northeast, with frequent away-from-home assignments and multi-night stays.

Responsibilities include constructing lines, reading engineering plans, operating aerial lifts, setting up traffic controls, completing timesheets and reports, and adhering to safety policies. Requires HS diploma and lineman experience; travel weekly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of Lineman experience.
• Experience operating truck mounted aerial lifts.
• Experience reading engineering/construction prints/plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction work such as digging holes, climbing poles, pulling wire and laying cable.
• Repair and maintain major cable systems and structures.
• Read work orders and interpret engineering/construction documents.
• Operate aerial and underground equipment.
• Set up traffic control signs and cones.
• Complete timesheets and expense reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and perform work safely.
• Assist with general accounting tasks if needed.
• Perform other tasks to help team complete projects.
