Warby Parker is seeking skilled opticians to join our team across multiple stores in your state. You will assist customers, take measurements, and ensure eyewear meets our standards with precise fit and prescription accuracy.

This full-time role involves travel between stores, collaboration with teams, and educating customers about frames, lenses, and our brand values. A licensed or ABO-certified optician is required, with overtime eligibility where applicable.

• Check that our finished eyewear meets our optical standards, as well as customer requirements and requests
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription needs, face fit, style, and lifestyle
• Collaborate with your team to form best practices for sales and customer service across the organization
• Represent our brand to educate others and promote our values and mission
• Guide future generations of opticians by offering apprenticeships where applicable
• Accurately report mileage and travel related expenses for reimbursement

What You'll Do

• Work in multiple store locations within your state of licensure, reporting directly to the District Leader or Area Leader

Who You Are

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states)
• Comfortable working a variety of shifts and adapting to different store teams
• Able to travel up to 50 miles by car or public transportation to multiple store locations
• A clear, effective, and professional communicator – you can break down technical terms for customers to easily understand

For applicable postings, the range listed is a good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation is thoughtfully determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, internal equity, and relevant market data.

For applicable postings, non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay if you are required to work more than 40 hours in a workweek.
