Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking Traveling Laborers to support underground telecom projects across multiple Kentucky locations. The role involves loading, delivering, digging, and operating equipment on a traveling basis with emphasis on safety and quality in field conditions.

The position is paid hourly with weekly paychecks and access to PTO, holidays, and comprehensive benefits. Applicants must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.; prior experience with hand tools and utility

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment.
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
• Communicate clearly with all team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Assist with site restoration efforts
• Work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Traveling - Laborer Telecom Underground Opportunities is$16.00 - $20.00.
