Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Laborer to join our Telecom Underground team. You will participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation.

Travel up to 100% is required. Install underground telecommunications cabling, operate equipment, complete daily production reports, and support site restoration in all weather. We offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States for TelCom Construction, LLC.
• Experience safely operating hand tools and utility trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment.
• Install underground telecommunications cabling.
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas.
• Clearly communicate with all team members.
• Complete daily production reports.
• Assist with site restoration efforts.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Travel up to 100%.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll do

What you'll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• A valid driver's license
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks, is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Traveling Laborer TelCom Construction is$21.00 - $26.00.
