Job summary

MECO LLC is seeking a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker (Cladding) for travel-based projects across the United States. You will fabricate and install non-HVAC sheet metal components, including insulated metal panels, flashing, trim, siding and metal wall systems, while coordinating with foremen and project supervision.

The role requires independent work from drawings, safe operation of tools and equipment, and willingness to travel for assignments.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years non-HVAC sheet metal installation experience.
Experience with insulation and insulated metal panel installation.
OSHA 10 certification required.
Experience with power tools, lifts, ladders, scaffolds and fall protection systems.
Ability to operate JLGs, scissor lifts, aerial lifts.
Ability to read and work from drawings and field measurements.
Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
Willingness to travel out of state for project assignments.
Reliable transportation and legal work authorization in the U.S.
Ability to pass a 10-panel drug test.

Responsibilities

Fabricate sheet metal components per project drawings and specs.
Cut, shape, drill, fasten and assemble sheet metal materials.
Install insulated metal panels, insulation, flashing, trim, siding, and metal wall systems.
Fabricate and install custom sheet metal components and repairs.
Measure and lay out materials based on drawings and field conditions.
Work from lifts, ladders, scaffolds and elevated work areas.
Maintain safety and comply with OSHA/site requirements.
Coordinate with foremen and supervisors and complete daily documentation.
