Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Traveling Journeyman Electrician to support electrical construction projects within distribution and small transmission systems. This role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical infrastructure under the direction of project leadership, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, Line School completion, a Journeyman Electrician certification or 8,000 work hours, and at least 4+

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Completion of Line School or equivalent training
Department of Labor-recognized Journeyman Electrician or Lineworker certification or proof of 8,000 work hours
4+ years of transmission or related electrical construction experience
Valid driver’s license
Class A CDL preferred
Ability to pass DOT physical and maintain a current medical card

Responsibilities

Perform installation, modification, and repair of electrical systems and associated equipment
Follow project plans and direction from foremen and project managers
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Properly use and care for tools, materials, and equipment
Adhere to all OSHA and job site safety requirements
