NexGen is seeking two interns for Summer 2027 in the Steel Department, with locations TBD. The role supports project lifecycle tasks—from safety to estimates—working closely with Project Management and Field Operations to gain hands-on experience in industrial construction.
You will assist with scheduling, procurement, cost tracking, and field reporting, while developing technical skills in a fast-paced setting and traveling as needed.

Qualifications
We are seeking highly motivated and energetic interns to join our Concrete, Steel, MEP, Safety and In-Plant Services divisions. Working closely with both Project Management and Field Operations teams, this internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in industrial construction, maintenance, and operations.
As an intern, you will support key project lifecycle activities including safety management, estimating, scheduling, procurement, and project coordination. This role provides exposure to real-world construction projects in both office and field environments, helping you develop technical skills, industry insight, and make meaningful contributions to our projects.
