Job summary

First Finish, a Shawmut company, is seeking a Superintendent for travel-heavy hospitality projects in the Dallas area. Lead field operations from preconstruction through turnover, delivering safe, high-quality renovations on complex hotel projects.

You will manage subcontractors, coordinate with the project team, maintain schedules, and build strong client relationships while upholding safety standards and project budgets. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Superintendent on complex hospitality projects ranging from $10-40M.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and paying close attention to the crucial details of hospitality construction.
• Experience in managing, training and developing people.
• Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• National Travel is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations, including site safety, subcontractor coordination, quality control, progress, and site cleanliness.
• Work with the project manager during preconstruction to plan logistics, phasing, milestones, inspections, and project execution.
• Maintain an accurate project schedule with the project manager, address changes promptly, and keep work on track.
• Communicate clearly with the project team about site conditions, changes in scope, subcontractor performance, and risks to cost or schedule.
• Hold subcontractors and vendors accountable while treating them fairly and building productive working relationships.
• Support the growth of field team members and maintain a strong working relationship with the client throughout the project.
