Job summary

inSIGHT Through Education, Inc. seeks a Traveling Holocaust Educator to deliver immersive Holocaust education programs to high school students across Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

The role involves visiting participating schools, guiding discussions, and using survivor testimony to bring history to life while promoting kindness and respect. The position requires strong public speaking and facilitation skills, a solid knowledge of Holocaust history, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, history, museum education, public history, or related field; Holocaust education preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Holocaust history, antisemitism, and genocide studies.
• Excellent public speaking, communication, and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to engage high school students with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Palm Beach and Broward Counties.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Availability for occasional evening and weekend programs.

• Incorporate historical sources, survivor testimony, and educational materials to enhance learning.
• Help students explore themes of antisemitism, propaganda, prejudice, and responsibility.
• Assist with preparation, setup, and onsite logistics at participating schools.
• Collect participant feedback and contribute to program evaluation and improvement.
• Represent inSIGHT Through Education professionally at schools, community events, and other initiatives.
• Support additional inSIGHT educational programs as needed.

About the Position

inSIGHT Through Education is seeking a knowledgeable, engaging educator to deliver Holocaust education programming to high school students throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

The Traveling Holocaust Educator will visit participating schools to facilitate immersive educational experiences that bring Holocaust history to life, encourage meaningful discussion, and help students understand the relevance of its lessons today. This position offers an opportunity to engage directly with thousands of students while supporting inSIGHT's mission of promoting kindness, acceptance, and respect for all.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate Holocaust education programming to high school students throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties.
• Facilitate student discussions and reflection activities that encourage historical understanding and critical thinking.
• Incorporate historical sources, survivor testimony, and educational materials to enhance student learning.
