Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Traveling Heavy Equipment Operator to join the Project Services Group. The role involves operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders, and performing manual labor as needed.

The position requires 95–100% travel across the 48 contiguous states, with a typical rotation of six weeks on site followed by one week off. Salary is posted as $26-32 DOE, with per diem and long-term hotel accommodations provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Must travel 95-100% with a 6 weeks on/1 week off rotation.
• Current valid driver's license required.
• Experience with bulldozers and excavators is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders.
• Perform manual labor as needed to keep projects moving.
• Work shifts including days, nights and weekends while traveling.
• Follow health and safety policies and maintain safe work practices.
