Job summary

RoadGuard is seeking Traveling Guardrail Installation Technicians to join our roadway safety crews in Erie, CO. You will install and maintain guardrail, barriers, fencing, signage, and other highway safety systems while traveling to multiple project sites throughout the region.

You’ll typically depart from the Erie yard on Monday and return Friday, with some assignments requiring up to two weeks away. Night shifts may occur and a $3.00/hour shift differential applies on night work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a field crew installing, removing, repairing, and modifying highway guardrail systems.
• Install barriers, fencing, signage, and other roadway safety products.
• Use hand and power tools to complete installation work.
• Load, unload, and move materials and equipment.
• Assist equipment operators and other crew members as needed.
• Follow work-zone, traffic-control, and jobsite safety procedures.
• Perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Travel with your crew to projects throughout the region.
