Job summary

Cascade Environmental, LLC is hiring for a drilling role in the United States. You will operate drill rigs, maintain daily reports, and lead a crew while ensuring equipment safety and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have CDL Class A, 3+ years in drilling, and the ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and IRCA work eligibility. Travel 70% may be required with potential for overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

  • CDL Class A and State Driller License is a plus.
  • 3+ years’ experience in the drilling industry with at least 1 year operating various rigs.
  • Negative drug test and clear background check.
  • Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory MVR results.
  • Federal DOT requirements for interstate operation satisfied.
  • Pass a HAZWOPER physical and IRCA work eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Operate drill rigs and equipment with high proficiency.
  • Maintain daily drilling reports and logs.
  • Ensure equipment safety through routine inspections.
  • Lead, train, and mentor drilling crew.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and uphold certifications.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform related duties.

HERE’S AN IDEA OF WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO
  • Operate drill rigs and drilling equipment with high proficiency
  • Maintain daily drilling reports
  • Ensure equipment is in safe working condition by conducting routine and preventative inspections
  • Lead, train, and mentor a drilling crew
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Knowledge and utilization of MSDS, CEU’s and JSA’s, as required
  • Approve employee timesheets
  • Complete well logs, logbook, repair orders, tailgates, and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
  • Promote positive and professional relationships with team members and client
  • Maintain all required certifications
  • Be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Completes other duties and projects, as assigned
HERE’S WHAT WE REQUIRE
  • CDL Class A and State Driller License is a plus
  • 3+ years’ experience in the drilling industry, with at least one (1) year of experience operating a variety of rigs (i.e. sonic, rotary, auger)
  • Negative drug test
  • Satisfactory results of a background check (and your authorization to conduct a routine background check) – offenses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Possessing a valid Driver’s License for the state in which you reside and satisfactory results of a Motor Vehicle Report
  • Obtaining and maintaining an interstate DOT Medical Card and meeting all Federal Interstate FMCSA requirements to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle
  • Passing a HAZWOPER physical
  • Verifying your legal right to work in the United States under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA)
  • Respiratory Protection will be required to be worn if specified by a site‑specific Health and Safety Plan, or when air monitoring indicates potential for exposure levels to reach an established action, level, threshold limit value (TLV), or permissible exposure limit (PEL). To comply with health and safety standards to protect against workplace hazards, employees may be required to shave or maintain facial hair in a manner that ensures a proper seal for respirator use.
