Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to support commercial construction projects nationwide. You will perform carpentry, painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks across multiple sites.

Requires a minimum of 3 years in construction or maintenance and OSHA 10-hour certification within 3 months. Travel and overnight shifts are expected to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance.
• Supply basic construction hand tools.
• OSHA 10-hour certification is required within 3 months of employment (employer-paid).

Responsibilities

• Commercial renovations/buildouts.
• Present detailed records of repairs, measurements, pictures, recommendations, and quotes.
• Follow OSHA requirements and maintain safety on site.
• Communicate with customers to build relationships.
• Willing to travel and work overnight shifts as needed across the United States.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: General Maintenance Technician

National maintenance and construction firm is recruiting a General Maintenance Technician willing to travel for full‑time commercial construction projects across the United States.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Carpentry

• Partition framing metal/wood studs, installation of basic cabinetry/countertops, installation of doors/windows

Painting

• Interior & exterior

Flooring

• Installation of VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares and cove base

Basic Knowledge of:

• Plumbing – replacement/installation of sinks, faucets, toilets and basic drainage and water lines (licensed plumbers encouraged to apply)
• Electrical – replacement/installation of light fixtures, switches and outlets, capable of basic data connections and able to diagnose minor electrical problems (licensed electricians encouraged to apply)
• HVAC – knowledge of refrigeration, PM service calls

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Commercial renovations/buildouts
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements
• Presentable and able to communicate with customers to build relationships
• Detailed record‑keeping of repairs, including measurements, pictures, recommendations, and quotes
• Ability to work overtime and/or on‑call as workload and emergency issues dictate
• Willing and able to travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when needed

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance
• Supply basic construction hand tools
• OSHA 10‑hour or the completion of OSHA 10‑hour within 3 months of employment (paid by employer)
