Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors and based in Tyler, TX, is seeking General Laborers to join a traveling, safety-conscious team. You will set up and assist with water treatment systems, hydrostatic testing, and related tasks at multiple customer sites.

This seasonal role requires extensive travel. A TWIC is preferred or obtainable. Health benefits after 30 days, 401K with company match, and stock purchase options accompany competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • TWIC is required or ability to obtain.
  • Travel for extended periods is required.
  • English comprehension for safety training and emergency instructions.
  • Valid driver license is required when driving company or personal vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and acting safely at all times.
  • Operate special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
  • Energize pumping equipment and operate hydroblasting or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
  • Inspect surfaces for conformance to company and customer expectations.
  • Maintain unit and peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment and disposal of hazardous materials.

Job description

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, based out of Tyler, TX is looking for General Laborersto work at various customer locations, and join their safety conscious traveling team! This team member is responsible for the successful execution of setting up and assisting with water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing and various other responsibilities. The General Laborer serves as representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. This is a seasonal traveling position that requires availability to travel extensively. TWIC preferred or must be able to obtain if needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps;
  • Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized Hydroblasting and/or Chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job;
  • May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations;
  • Conduct routine and required maintenance on the unit and all peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment and the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials;

  • Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job;
  • Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;

  • Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;
  • Valid driver license and other requirements of company's driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business;
  • OSHA certification may be required for this job;
  • Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers;

  • Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.
