Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Traveling Floor Cleaner to perform floor care and cleaning across multiple sites. The role requires extensive travel (70%–90%) Monday through Friday to support cleaning operations in various states.

Responsibilities include floor maintenance, restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and equipment upkeep. Requires a valid driver's license and willingness to travel; 21+ with a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling bins in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.

This position is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented facilities for employees, clients, and visitors. The role requires extensive travel—70% to 90% Monday through Friday—to support cleaning operations in various states, including tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, restroom sanitation, dusting, pressure washing, and equipment upkeep.
