Floor Coverings International of Bloomington is seeking experienced flooring installers to join our team. Our shop-at-home model allows customers to receive flawless new floors without leaving their homes, supported by a franchise network known for growth and strong customer ratings.

This role requires multiple weekly site visits, precise installation skills, and a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of flooring installation experience.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Ability to pass a background check.
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly.
Requires repetitive crouching, squatting, standing, walking and lifting.
Willingness to travel weekly.

Responsibilities

Prep and install flooring in steps according to company procedures with attention to detail.
Keep tools organized and maintain a safe work environment.
Understand project scope before starting and review the project file.
Handle company machinery and power tools safely.
Perform simple math calculations and use units of measurement accurately.
Interact with customers in a friendly and trustworthy manner in their home.
Ensure high quality workmanship meets company standards.
Strive for high customer satisfaction on every job.
Travel throughout the week to various work locations.
