Job summary

Guardian Firestop Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Firestop Foreman to lead installation crews, coordinate daily field activities, and ensure high-quality, code-compliant work across commercial, industrial, and residential sites.

You will interpret plans, select proper materials, and oversee safety, scheduling, and collaboration with project teams. Willingness to travel nationwide with emphasis on Missouri/Illinois initially is expected.

Qualifications

3+ years of firestop installation with at least 1 year in crew leadership.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and UL listings.
Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. for projects.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and mentor firestop technicians and field crews to ensure safe, productive, and high-quality work.
Install firestop systems to meet project specifications and UL systems.
Interpret blueprints, construction documents, and technical specifications.
Identify and select appropriate firestop materials for substrates and penetrants.
Prepare and clean surfaces for application and ensure proper adhesion.
Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal fire codes and safety regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades to ensure quality.
Document installations and locations for inspection and QA purposes.
Train new technicians on methods, safety, and standards.
Work in all weather conditions and at heights; access tight spaces as needed.
