Job summary

Belt Power LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site service, inspections, and preventative maintenance for conveyor belt systems at customer facilities in the region. You’ll travel to sites, work with customers, and keep equipment running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have hands-on mechanical experience, read tape measures, and are comfortable with heights and lifting. Training and safety are priority, with opportunities for growth in a stable, growing company.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of field service or hands-on mechanical work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Able to read tapes and basic mechanical drawings.
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces.
• Willing to travel, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service, inspections, and preventative maintenance on conveyor belt systems
• Fabricate, install, splice, and repair conveyor belts and components
• Identify wear issues early and recommend maintenance solutions to prevent downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Accurately measure, cut, and assemble belting materials per work orders
• Communicate findings with customers and internal teams
• Maintain service documentation and follow safety procedures
• Travel regularly, including overnight stays
