Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a team of Traveling Field Inspectors to support remediation projects in the field, working alongside site supervisors and project managers to keep work on schedule and within budget while maintaining safety standards. This is a recent college graduate friendly role with hourly pay and substantial overtime opportunities.

Location includes the Midwest, Southeast, Texas and more; 95-100% travel is required with 6-week rotations and paid time at home.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, civil engineering or related field is required.
• Groundwater sampling experience is a plus.
• Be safety oriented and commit to safety.
• Willing to do manual labor.
• Willing to work outside in all kinds of weather with PPE.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Document site activities and costs accurately via laptop or mobile device.
• Work in the field with crew and Project Manager/Field Service Supervisor.
• Travel to different project locations including wastewater treatment plants and soil remediation sites.
• Read and understand project documents and contracts.
• Earn Hazwoper/OSHA 10 certifications through the company.
