Lucas Industrial, based in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking a full-time Traveling Fabrication Specialist – Industrial Welder. This role involves leading welding and fabrication projects across the country, with 10–12 hour shifts and 40 hours weekly on average, and lodging and per diem during travel.

You will bring 5+ years welding experience, own cordless tools, and the ability to pass FCAW tests. CDL preferred; travel logistics are managed by the company, fostering a safety-minded team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years welding experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass FCAW welding test (1G–4G) within 4 weeks of hire (company reimbursement for passing tests).
• Own hand and power tools (cordless only).

Responsibilities

• Lead welding and fabrication projects locally and nationwide.
• Oversee construction plan execution and ensure code compliance.
• Manage travel logistics and maintain project documentation.
• Operate and maintain equipment and monitor deadlines.
• Cross-train team members for various roles.
