Job summary

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. is seeking an experienced Traveling Concrete Finisher to support heavy civil construction across multiple states. You will finish concrete surfaces with hand and power tools, pour and spread concrete, and ensure smooth, level results on highways, roads, and subdivisions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of heavy civil concrete finishing, read blueprints, and communicate clearly with crews. Willingness to travel overnight and maintain safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to do out of state travel.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in concrete finishing preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in heavy civil concrete finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have experience placing and finishing concrete on heavy civil construction projects, including highways, roadways, The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
